Haziran got supported!
Happy to announce that my short film Haziran (June) is one of the 30 short films awarded grant from the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism’s General Directorate of Cinema.
Cosmos is the experimental video that I made as an entry to the 2012 Whistler Film Festival’s online video contest.
Yangın Var DVD is out
Yangın Var (In Flames) DVD has been released this summer. The DVD has a special behind the scenes video featuring my colleague, Erol Mintaş’s, and my shots from the set.
DDM Award for Café Cyprus
Café Cyprus was screened at the Rio Theatre along with the other Emily Carr film and animation grad films. I was awarded the DDM Emerging Artist Award with 4 other film fellows (Phoebe, Katie, Bernie and Ken). DDM is a Vancouver based company that designs custom web-based media workflows for the Film & TV industry.

Modest Luxury is going to Cannes, as a part of Short Film Corner, from May 16th to 26th.
Modest Luxury at Brussels
Modest Luxury’s international premiere! Film has been selected to screen at Brussels Short Film Festival, in a special program, “Nuit du Court”. Festival will take place from April 27 to May 6.
Modest Luxury at Clermont-Ferrand Market
Modest Luxury’s first overseas reach! Film will be available at the video library of Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Market, from January 28 to February 3.

Yangın Var is coming to theatres on December 9, in Turkey.
Modest Luxury at Whistler
Modest Luxury has been selected to compete in the “Student Shortwork” category at the 2011 Whistler Film Festival. It will be screened with the other 6 films in the category, on Sunday December 4.
Café Cyprus shoot wrapped!
After all of the cast and crew’s hard work, we wrapped Café Cyprus shoot! Huge thanks to every awesome friend who helped this story come true..
Café Cyprus, written and directed by me, is the short film project that I’ve been working on for almost a year. It’s also my grad film.
The Kickstarter campaign we started in early July has reached its goal and got funded! Thank you to everyone who supported the project!
